Conceptual Designs
Have an idea for a new vessel but not sure where to start? During our initial design consultation, our vessel designers work with you to bring your ideas closer to reality and develop a detailed vessel arrangement drawing to help you visualise the vessel.
3D Computer Modelling
Oceanic Design & Survey employs the use of 3D modelling software. This is a multi-faceted tool used to develop the design, styling, arrangement, as well as how to market the new vessel concept. By using the software, our design team can create a much more realistic model and perspective of your design without needing to build real life models. This process can be much more cost-effective, faster, and easier to adjust.
New Build Specifications & Refit
To ensure accurate costing is done for your new build or refit, it’s critical to produce a detailed specification that is clear and fully informed. A well-prepared specification not only protects the interests of the owner, but also ensures that the subject vessel is built to requirements and within budget. Our experienced team is happy to assist in developing a new specification or to provide an independent review of an existing specification.
Detailed Structural Drawings
The build accuracy of vessels is dependent on accurate detailed construction drawings. All our staff have experience working in or with shipyards. As a result, our drawings reflect a practical and efficient means of building a stable vessel – whether this be a small trailerable boat up to a large super yacht or passenger ferry.
CNC
The ability to be able to provide a builder with a computer cut kit of frames and structural components ensures build accuracy and can greatly reduce initial build costs.
